Providing food, fun and friendship
for families across Harlow and the surrounding area during school holidays.
The Harlow Holiday Lunch Clubs Network is an initiative of Harlow Churches working together with a group of voluntary sector organisations, supported by local authority bodies and businesses, all working together to provide great fun and food for families during school holiday periods. Throughout the COVID19 outbreak, we have also been providing support direct to families' homes through out 'Box of Hope' scheme.
2021 - we are offering FREE Lunch Clubs again for families in the summer holidays - booking coming soon!
Harlow Churches are delighted to also be working with Activate; Changing Lives Harlow; Red Balloon Foundation and a number of new partner agencies to deliver more sessions during our family lunch clubs across town during the summer.
Whole families are welcome along with anyone in your 'bubble' - there will be crafts and fun at you tables and sports/games with our friends at Changing Lives and others for any children (or adults if numbers allow!) aged 5 and above who want to join in.
You will be given a freshly prepared nutritious meal (usually hot unless the weather is boiling!) Ideally whole families come but we know some have to work, so at least one adult family member or carer must accompany the children. On the booking form you can ask for food to takeaway for other family members.
Don't forget to know any special needs (allergies, other dietary requirements or anything else we need to know so we can best support you all and help everyone to have a good time!
