About Us

The Harlow Holiday Lunch Clubs Network is an initiative of Harlow Churches working together with a group of voluntary sector organisations, supported by local authority bodies and businesses, all working together to provide great fun and food for families during school holiday periods. Throughout the COVID19 outbreak, we also been provided support direct to families' homes through out 'Box of Hope' scheme.

2022 - we are offering FREE Lunch Clubs again for families in the holidays including Half Terms    - booking details will be up soon for February half term...

Harlow Churches are delighted to also be working with Essex ActiVate; Changing Lives Harlow; Dom Bergonzi (Boxing Coach and Mentor); Red Balloon Foundation and a number of partner agencies to deliver more sessions during our family lunch clubs across town during the school holidays (including Half Terms)..

Whole families are welcome along with anyone in your 'bubble' - there will be crafts and fun at your tables and sports/games with our coaches for any children (or adults if numbers allow!) who want to join in., and we often have visits from Bethany Davey our drama coach; MIND, Citizens Advice Bureau, HarlowSave and others for both family fun and helpful advice and giveaways.

You will be given a freshly prepared nutritious meal (usually hot unless the weather is boiling!) Ideally whole families come but we know some have to work, so at least one adult family member or carer must accompany the children. On the booking form you can ask for food to takeaway for other family members.

Don't forget to know any special needs (allergies, other dietary requirements or anything else we need to know so we can best support you all and help everyone to have a good time!

We also offer help and support outside of school holidays where we can. This might be signposting people to other support agencies; or funding emergency items; and when we can working with other partners to deliver food boxes (Boxes of Hope).

You can also fill in the 'Contact Us" form below to ask for the help you need beyond attending the holiday clubs.
